Bards Around A Tree

9th March, final day of the 2014 National Tree Week in Ireland, forecasted to be awful but served us a calm warmish golden sunny afternoon. We are at Fitzsimons Wood, near Sandyford, South Dublin. This is a native tree woodland, a community woodland and one that school groups visit for wildlife and nature education. The intent was to see if we could Live Broadcast some bards by an oak tree. When set up all looked well and then my wireless mobile modem quit. Lammo loaned me her smartphone which we used as a modem but the upload speed was less than last time I tried here. Still it worked, but only two people tuned in to watch. There are one or two video clips though. Here is our allotted young oak tree Because I was loaded up with gear I did not get involved with hiking around the woods for awhile. We did have some wonderful readers and poets though.
